Hi, I'm Anvi Dangaria!

My work is rooted in concepts that emerge from the unanswered or unspoken questions we all carry. These are the thoughts we often ponder but rarely articulate, and I explore them through my art. At the heart of my process is journalling---an introspective practice where I question and document the ideas that cross my mind. From there, I transition to working either in my sketchbook or digitally with pictures and texts, creating visual moods that give form to these intangible ideas. This allows me to see and understand my thoughts in a new way, bridging the gap between abstract emotions and concrete expression. My practice relies heavily on experimentation. I work with a variety of tools and materials such as glass, luster paper, plaster and so on. The choice of materials is never arbitrary, it's a way to let the moods fit just right. The correct medium allows each concept to express itself in the most authentic form. Through my work, I invite viewers not only to see but feel the concepts I question and the emotions I seek to convey. Ultimately, I want my art to evoke a shared sense of curiosity and introspection while viewers question their own reflection in the pieces.</div>
